Touch Football – How to Play With Family, Friends, Or Strangers

Touch football is a fun game for people of any age! One of the great benefits of touch is the lack of contact; without the fear of being tackled, many more people can enjoy touch football than standard American football.

Though there are some obvious deviations in the two modes of play, they do share many of the same rules. You can play one- or two-hand touch football. A touch from the opponent qualifies as a tackle. If you are tackled, play resumes at the down where you were tagged.

You can use a town or school field, or you can create your own. Obviously ทางเข้า ufabet if using a makeshift field you will not have identifiable downs. Be sure to have clearly marked end zones though!

Teams can be as small as 2 or as large as 11 players per side depending on the field. Games can be limited by time or points scored, whatever the teams decide. Once split into teams, take a few minutes to draw up plans, choose a quarterback, and get excited for the game! Though there is usually a designated quarterback, other positions are very loose on a touch football team. It is less important to stay in a defined position on the field than to work as a team to score points.

If there a team makes 3 downs without scoring a touchdown, possession switches to the opposing team. Down can be tackles, drops, or out-of-bounds runs. Possession also changes hand after a touchdown is scored.
